Abstract: The United Nations (UN) established 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in order to create a series of actions to attain a more sustainable global future and to address certain global challenges. The South African SDG (SASDG) Hub gathers publications from South African resources and classifies them into the SDGs and 169 constituent targets. Policy makers and external users can then access this database about the SDGs through the Hub and improve decision making and policy development processes using this research. This study aims to enhance the classification models of the SASDG Hub and propose new areas of refining the platform used by the policy makers
