Abstract: Vegan meat has been commercially available for several years, but it has now reached a pivotal point. Meat equivalents, or plant-based products that mimic the characteristics of conventional meat products, have established a place in the discussion of protein foods. The meat analogue industry is growing rapidly in the restaurant and food sectors of the global food market. After performing the exploratory data analysis and modelling, the results show a lack of awareness, though Cape Town is slightly better.
