Abstract: The South African SDG Hub collects research papers from various institutions and classifies them according to the SDG they are aligned to. The main pain point is the overwhelming volume of research items, which makes it challenging to navigate and visualise the information. Thus, this project aims to help make sense of the publications by visualising the dataset to allow the users of the website to get the most relevant research and obtain an overview of the research landscape. The final model which was selected was the LDA. To deploy the LDA topic model results, Streamlit was used. The developed application is user-friendly, interactive, and provides some insights.
